Return and Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase from Useful Life. Please read the information below before requesting a return.

Change-of-mind returns

You may request to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving it.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must send the item back within a further 14 days.

To request a return, email us at usefullife.org@gmail.com with:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • The item you wish to return
  • The reason for your return, although you do not need to provide one for a change-of-mind cancellation

We will reply with return instructions and the applicable return address. Please do not send an item back without contacting us first.

Return condition

You may inspect the item as you would reasonably inspect it in a shop. To receive a full refund, the product should be returned in its original condition and, where possible, in its original packaging.

FrostFold™ cups should not be filled, frozen, washed or used for drinking before a change-of-mind return.

We may make a reasonable deduction from the refund if the item’s value has been reduced because it was handled or used beyond what was necessary to inspect it.

Return shipping costs

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.

We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage, as we cannot be responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.

If the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before returning it. Where required, we will cover reasonable return costs or provide another suitable solution.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

Contact us as soon as possible at usefullife.org@gmail.com if your item is:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect
  • Missing parts
  • Materially different from its description

Please include your order number and clear photographs or video showing the issue. We will assess the problem and arrange an appropriate refund, replacement or other remedy.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item or receiving acceptable evidence that it has been sent back, where applicable.

For a valid cancellation, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at checkout. Any additional amount paid for express or upgraded shipping is not refundable unless the order was faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Banks and payment providers may require additional time to show the refund in your account after it has been processed.

Cancellations before dispatch

To request an order cancellation, email usefullife.org@gmail.com as quickly as possible.

We will attempt to cancel the order before dispatch, but this cannot be guaranteed. If the order has already been processed or shipped, you may need to wait for it to arrive and follow the return procedure above.

Orders returned to sender

If an order is returned because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, refused delivery or failed to collect the parcel, any refund may be reduced by reasonable shipping or return costs where legally permitted.

Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges.

To change your colour or product, please return the original eligible item and place a new order.
