Shipping policy
Thank you for shopping with Useful Life. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped and delivered.
Order processing
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received.
Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Orders placed during weekends, bank holidays or especially busy periods may begin processing on the next business day.
You will receive an order confirmation email after completing your purchase.
Estimated delivery times
Most orders are expected to arrive within approximately 5–13 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination, delivery service and local courier.
Many destinations may receive their order sooner. Estimated delivery times shown on our website or during checkout are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
Delivery may occasionally take longer because of:
- Courier delays
- Customs processing
- Severe weather
- Public holidays
- High-volume shopping periods
- Incorrect or incomplete address information
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Shipping charges
Shipping costs are calculated according to the destination and current promotion and will be displayed before payment at checkout.
Our current offer provides:
- One FrostFold™ cup: standard shipping charge shown at checkout
- Two or more FrostFold™ cups: free standard shipping
Customers must add the required quantity of eligible products to their cart for automatic discounts and free-shipping offers to apply.
Promotional shipping offers may be amended or withdrawn before an order is placed.
International shipping
We currently deliver to selected international destinations shown during checkout.
International delivery times may vary because of local customs procedures and courier networks.
Taxes, customs duties and import charges collected by us will be displayed during checkout where applicable. If a destination requires additional charges that were not collected during checkout, the recipient may be responsible for paying them before delivery. International customers can potentially face duties or import taxes depending on how the shipment and checkout are configured.
Useful Life is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, but we will provide reasonable assistance where possible.
Tracking information
Where tracking is available for the selected delivery method, tracking details will be sent by email after the order has been dispatched.
Tracking information may take a short time to update after the parcel is handed to the courier.
Some delivery methods may provide limited tracking updates. Please contact us if your order has passed its estimated delivery window and no useful update is available.
Incorrect or incomplete addresses
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address during checkout.
Please contact usefullife.org@gmail.com immediately if you notice an error. We will try to amend the address before dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.
If an order is returned, lost or requires reshipping because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, the customer may be responsible for reasonable additional delivery costs where legally permitted.
Failed delivery and uncollected parcels
If delivery is attempted while nobody is available, the courier may:
- Leave the parcel in a safe location
- Deliver it to a neighbour
- Take it to a local collection point
- Attempt delivery again
- Return it to the sender
Customers are responsible for following courier instructions and collecting parcels within the specified time.
If a parcel is returned because delivery was refused or it was not collected, any refund may be reduced by reasonable original, return or reshipping costs where legally permitted.
Delayed orders
Please wait until the estimated delivery period has passed before reporting an order as delayed.
If your order has not arrived after the estimated window, contact:
Include your:
- Full name
- Order number
- Delivery address
We will review the available shipping information and contact the delivery provider or fulfilment partner where appropriate.
Delivery times are estimates, but UK distance-selling rules generally require delivery within 30 days unless another timeframe has been agreed with the customer.
Orders marked as delivered
If tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please:
- Check around the delivery address and any safe places.
- Ask other members of your household.
- Check with neighbours or building reception.
- Contact the courier using the tracking details.
If the parcel still cannot be located, contact us and we will review the available delivery evidence.
Lost or damaged parcels
If a parcel appears to be lost in transit, contact us at usefullife.org@gmail.com.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the damage
- Clear photographs of the item and packaging
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution in line with our Return and Refund Policy and your statutory rights.
Split deliveries
Orders containing multiple items or colours may occasionally be delivered in separate parcels.
If this happens, you may receive more than one tracking number and the parcels may arrive on different days. You will not be charged additional shipping because an order is divided into separate deliveries.
Order cancellations
Contact usefullife.org@gmail.com as quickly as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
We will try to cancel it before dispatch, but this cannot be guaranteed. If the order has already shipped, you may need to wait for delivery and follow our Return and Refund Policy.
